While trying to book a multi-city flight using frequent flier miles on the Northwest Airlines web site, I received “Message 158″ which informed me my miles were insufficient and I should click on “Buy Miles” to purchase more…

Only problem is, there is no “Buy Miles” link anywhere on the page…what’s a lad to do?

* Click on “Buy & Gift Miles”
* Click on “Miles for Your Account”
* Follow the prompts to complete your transaction.

After submitting your purchase request, you will receive a screen
confirming that your request went through. You will also receive a
confirmation e-mail. The miles will be posted into the account within
24 hours.

Please be aware that this transaction is non-refundable and that award
travel availability may change at any time.
